Meine ersten digitalen Versuche waren Arbeiten, die auf meinen Lieblings-Rocksongs der letzten fünf (oder sogar mehr) Jahrzehnte basieren – den „rock musik paintings“.
Hier sind drei Beispiele, die auf "All Tomorrows Parties" von Velvet Underground & Nico basieren. Das befindet sich auf dem von Andy Warhol produzierten Album, das mit der Banane auf dem Cover. Eines Morgens musste ich einfach ein paar Fotos von meinen frisch gebackenen Croissants machen – keine Banane mehr.
Und wenn Sie sich wundern, warum das zweite Bild "Croissant Boogie" heißt: Ich hatte vorher Musik von Canned Heat gehört, und ihr Sound und Rhythmus wirkte nach.

Here are three examples based on "All Tomorrows Parties" by Velvet Underground & Nico. This is on the album produced by Andy Warhol, the one with the banana on the cover. One morning I just had to take some photos of my freshly baked croissants - no more bananas.
And if you're wondering why the second picture is called "Croissant Boogie," I had heard Canned Heat's music before, and their sound and rhythm resonated.
